James Samuel Henderson - Bio
James was born on 13 Sep 1835 in Pike County, Missouri. He died on 4 May 1919 in Buffalo Township, Pike County, Missouri.

He was the son of Rufus R. Henderson and Sarah Tolbert White and his known siblings were Elizabeth Ann Henderson Arthur, Hannah Jane Henderson, Louisa Rhoda Henderson, Susan Martha Henderson Hobbs, Minverva Frances Henderson, Mary Priscilla Henderson Hobbs, Minerva Frances Henderson Zumwalt, Sarah Leonora Henderson Zumwalt, Flavius J. Henderson, Sarah Louisa Henderson, Josephus F. Henderson, Thomas Ansell Henderson, John White Henderson, William Rufus Henderson.

Samuel married Nancy Adeline Arthur on 29 Oct 1857 in Pike County, Missouri. They had the following known children, Sarah Bersheba (Sallie) Henderson Travis, Stephen Arnold Douglas Henderson, Masten C. (Mack) Henderson, Laura Nettie Jane (Nettie) Henderson Ince, and Samuel Rufus Henderson.
